Fishing with Ryan

After church, we met Ginna and Ryan to eat lunch since Matt is out of town.  Ryan mentioned fishing and Mattie and Reid were all over it!  Here are a few pictures from our fishing outing at Gin Gin and Ryan's.

Mattie caught a fish!

Reid wouldn't let anyone near him but Ryan.

Labor Day & The Grove

Last weekend was just so fun.  On Saturday, we went to Ole Miss's first home game.  Unfortunately, the game was terrible, but the kids had a blast!

On Sunday, we had Reid's 2nd Birthday party... see the post below.  And on Monday, we took the kids to ride 4-wheelers.  Needless to say, we were all tired come Monday night!

Happy Birthday Reid!

Reid turned 2 on Labor Day!  We had a "dump truck" party to celebrate with family and friends.  Matt was a little worried about having dirt in the backyard, so we ended up with a huge pile of sand and a bouncy house.  The kids seems to have the best time and my sister made "dirt shirts" for all the kids so they wouldn't get sand on their cute outfits.  Everything turned out great!

Vacation 2010

We went to Gulf Shores at the beginning of July and had a blast! The kids had so much fun at the resort's pools... we swam and swam and swam! Matt and I enjoyed our family time, but can't wait for Ginna, Ryan, and Chaz to go with us next year!

Times to Cherish!

Well, we have had Bible School this week and have been learning about God's Hope. We learned the Bible verse "God give us hope." I am a crew leader and walk the kids around to the different areas. Last night, when we got home, Mattie's tummy was hurting. She looked up and me and said "Mama, I know that my tummy will get better because God gives us hope for that." My heart melted to hear her repeat back in her terms what we had learned from the night!

In the meantime, Matt and I have canceled our Beach Trip to Orange Beach for now because of the oil spill. We are trying to decide whether to go somewhere different, rebook for the same area, or go to the beach further south. Mattie told me last night that she really wanted to go to the Beach, so "Maybe we can try the 'RED' Beach instead of the Orange Beach to see if the oil made it there!

Last week, we went to the square for "Family Fun night in Hernando." They had a fun band, which Reid Sanders enjoyed the most! Reid got on the front row and danced will all of the dancers (for about 30 minutes). He was especially good at the 'electric slide.' Reid definitely enjoys a crowd as much as his Mommy! What a joy. I will Cherish these comments/moments forever! God has blessed us so much!!

We love to Swim!

Mattie and Reid love the swimming pool!! Mattie has been taking lessons and is doing wonderful... Reid on the other hand, thinks he can do whatever Mattie does so we have to watch him a little closer! I forgot my camera this weekend, but stopped by Ginna's before we went so she was able to snap a few pictures before we left to go swimming.

Mattie's 5th Birthday Party

Mattie turned 5 on May 24th and we had an Art Party to celebrate! Everyone had so much fun! We painted pottery, finger painted, and made puppets. Everything turned out great!

Springtime

It's definitely springtime around the Sanders house! Mattie is busy playing soccer and Reid is busy getting into everything! The kids love playing outside everynight when we get home.

Reid loves cheering for his sissy!
He can't wait till he is old enough to play soccer.

Here are some pictures from their recent photo session with Valerie Walden. She does a wonderful job and the kids have so much fun with her!

Friday Fun!

Hello Everyone... it's Ginna here. Since Lou Ann is going to be terrible at keeping us up to date with this blog, I'm going to post one for her! On Friday, Lyn, Lou Ann, and I went to pick up some curtain and drapes we were having done and decided that we would all help Lyn hang hers... well, we decided we would kindly ask the husbands and get them to hang them. Sweet Matt did most of the handy work while Greg was his assistant, Ryan played babysitter, and the girls played supervisor! After 5 hours, 3 large pizzas, and lots of beer- they were hung! They turned out great!! Here are some pictures!
